I. System Requirements

* Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, 2000, Windows NT 4, Windows ME, or Windows XP
* Personal or multimedia computer with a 133 MHz Pentium processor or higher     
* 64 MB available hard drive space
* 32 MB RAM/64MB recommended (64 MB RAM/128MB recommended for Windows XP)
* 4X CD-ROM drive
* 256 Color VGA monitor (or greater) at a screen resolution of 800x600
* Excel 97 or later

III. To install the software you should create a directory with the name DerivaGem 
(or some other name of your own choosing) and load the first two files into that directory (NOTE: You will need to save the files onto your computer for this application to function). 
The third file, dg150.dll, should be loaded into the Windows\System directory (Windows 95 , Windows 98, and Windows ME users) 
or into the WINNT\System32 directory (Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows XP users). 
Note: It is not uncommon for Windows Explorer to be set up so that *.dll files are not displayed. Select show all files when prompted
to open files.
To change the setting of Windows Explorer so that the *.dll file is displayed proceed as follows. 
In Windows 95, click View, followed by Options, followed by Show All Files. 
In Windows 98 and ME, click View, File Options, View, Show All Files. 
In Windows 2000, XP, and NT, click Tools followed by Folder Options, followed by View, followed by Show Hidden 
Files and Folders.

DG150.xls is the Options Calculator software and DG150functions.xls is the Applications Builder Software. 
The full description of, and documentation for, the software can be found at the end of the fifth 
edition of "Options, Futures, and Other Derivatives". You are advised to become familar 
with DG150.xls before using DG150functions.xls.
